Dr. P.S. Rana received his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1970. He obtained his P.G. Diploma in Town and Country Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi in1972 and his Ph.D. (Transport Engg. & Management) from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. in 1983.
Dr. Rana is presently Chairman & Managing Director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO).
Dr. Rana has been actively involved in the field of Housing and Urban Infrastructure and has been instrumental in diversification of HUDCO portfolio, notably, Joint Ventures, Consultancy Services etc. He has been a pioneer in propagating the concept of regional development through corridor planning and also a supporter of the concept of PURA. Dr. Ranahas also been President, Indian Building Congress, Chairman CII National Committee on Disaster Management and many more.
Dr. Rana has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of "National Resource Facility on Bamboo Technology" at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in the setting up of HUDCO Chair Professorship on Bamboo Technology. In honouring Dr. P.S. Mr. Ravi Uppal received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1973. He completed his post graduation in Business Management from the Indian Institute of ManagementAhmedabad in 1975.
Mr. Ravi Uppal is presently Vice Chairman & Managing Director of ABB in India and also Country Manager, South Asia-Pacific Region.
Mr. Uppal has spent over 20 years with the ABBGroup. Under his guidance, ABB’s India operations have seen a meteoric growth in recent years.
Mr. Ravi Uppal is the recipient of the "Royal Order of the Polar Star" awarded by His Majesty the King of Sweden and named a knight of this Order. He has also been honoured with Helen Keller Award for facilitating employment of physically and mentally challenged.
Mr. Ravi Uppal has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of ABB Chair Professorship in Power and Automation at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in the setting up of ABB Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Electrical Engineering. Mr. Ashwini Gupta received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1974. He completed his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1977.
Mr. Ashwini Gupta is presently Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, American Express Company, New York.
Mr. Ashwini Gupta is one of the 15 most senior leaders of American Express Company. As the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Gupta oversees all risk management and information management for the company and manages over 1000 people. He has held various positions in American Express Company for more than 25 years with increasing responsibility and is now a part of the company’s Global Management Team.
Mr. Ashwini Gupta has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of Amar S Gupta Chair Professorship in Decision Science at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in the setting up of American Express scholarships in the M.Tech Programme on Mathematics and Computing. Mr. Pradeep Singh received his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1979 and there after his Master’s Degree in Business Management from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Pradeep Singh is presently Chairman and CEO, Aditi Technologies. Mr. Pradeep Singh has founded two known software companies: Aditi Technologies and Talisma. He has built high caliber software product talent to influence new and established Independent Software Vendors towards India as the next name in software product development.
Mr. Pradeep Singh has been recognized as a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum(Davos). He is on the Board of Directors of the Washington Software Association (WSA) as well as on the Advisory Board of Grameen Technology Center, a Seattle based global non-profit organization.
Mr. Pradeep Singh has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of Brigadier Bhupinder Singh Chair Professorship in Computer Science Technologies at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in the setting up of a Cyber Cafe' in Kumaon Hostel. In honouring Mr.Pradeep Singh, IIT Delhi recognizes the significant efforts and contributions made by him for the development and progress of the Institute.
Mr. Lalit Mehra received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1966 with Director’s Gold Medal for being the best all round student. He also received the Institute Silver Medal for having stood first in his Department.
Mr. Lalit Mehra is presently the Chairman of Tara Vati Ram Gopal Mehra Foundation, a family foundation which provides medical assistance and scholarships to the needy.
During his business career, Mr. Mehra specialized in the sale of equipment, material and know-how for the wire & cable industry. He was responsible for the initial technology tie up of some of the country’s most successful telephone cable companies. He strengthened the family foundation, which operates a fully equipped outpatient Medical Centre in East Delhi and two Homeopathic Dispensaries in New Delhi, serving about 250 to 300 patients every day. The Foundation through its support of Nirmal Shiksha Kendra, runs a Primary School in New Delhi with a strength of about 350 underprivileged children who pay no fees.
Mr. Lalit Mehra has been active in the Rotary organization. He has been President and District Governor for Rotary Clubs in and around Delhi. He established the Rotary Foundation (India). He spearheaded Rotary’s effort to eradicate polio, first as Chairman of the Polioplus Campaign Committee for India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and later as Vice Chairman of the National Polioplus Immunisation Committee.
Mr. Lalit Mehra has taken a keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for establishing the Tara Vati Ram Gopal Mehra Foundation Scholarship for a deserving and needy student at IIT Delhi in 1967 immediately after his graduation. He has been instrumental in setting up the Mehra Chair Professorship in Design & Manufacturing Technologies. He has also contributed significantly to improvement in hostel infrastructure as well as to the setting up of the Pearl Award (Batches 1965 to 1969). He has also instituted the Dr. P.L. Kapur Memorial Award for partially supporting the travel of a student of Department of Physics to an international conference.

Mr. Sandeep Tyagi received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 1990. He completed his MBA from Columbia Business School, New York in 1994.
Mr. Sandeep Tyagi is presently Vice President and Head of Transformation Services, EXL Service. He is also the Founder and Managing Principal of management consulting and outsourcing firm – Inductis – which is now a part of EXL Service.
Mr. Tyagi has been responsible for sustaining a winning culture at Inductis and developing new business opportunities since the year 2000 in the areas of re-engineering, marketing and risk management. He has been advising Fortune 100 clients and executives at leading companies about high-end analytics, outsourcing, marketing strategy and technology for more than a decade. Prior to founding Inductis, he was partner at the Mitchell Madison Group (MMG), an eminent global strategy consulting firm.
Mr. Sandeep Tyagi is Charter Member of TiE, an organization focused on nurturing entrepreneurship and a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Mr. Tyagi has been named a 2006 Forty Under 40 Award recipient in New Jersey.
Mr. Sandeep Tyagi has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for setting up of IIT Delhi Excellence Foundation (IITDEF) in New York- an organization that works to support the development of IIT Delhi into a world-class institution. He has served as its Vice Chairman and Board Member. He has also established Major Dr. Nityananda Tyagi Scholarship and Mitchell Madison Group Gyan Scholarship at IIT Delhi. He has lead the effort in raising funds for several scholarships, loan scholarships as well as a Chair Professorship through IITDEF.

Mr. Vishnu Dusad received his Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Technology from IIT Delhi in 1980. He obtained his M.Tech. in Management and Systems from IIT Delhi in 1982.
Mr. Vishnu Dusad is presently CEO and Managing Director of Nucleus Software Exports Ltd.
After graduating from IIT Delhi, Mr. Dusad taught computer languages to aspiring engineers for some time, but the yearning to do something on his own was too strong. In 1983, he joined hands with two like-minded friends and set up a software development company, International Information Systems (IIS). The first client was Ballarpur Industries and they were growing very fast, when they were recommended for an opportunity at Citibank. Citibank was setting up its Retail business in the country and was looking for a dedicated group to service their technology requirements and, thus Nucleus Software came into being. As the CEO and Managing Director of Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, Mr. Dusad has helped establish one of the very few Intellectual Property led software companies in India. Nucleus Software has many award winning products to its credit, which are used by the leading banks in more than 30 countries across the world. The company also has the distinction of developing World’s No.1 Best Selling Retail Lending product. Mr. Dusad has created an environment for over 2000 young professionals to learn and achieve together.
FICCI had selected Mr. Dusad to Chair its Software Product Forum. He is also Co-Chair of FICCI Indo-Australia Joint Business Committee and Executive Committee member of the Indo Japan Partnership Forum. He is a member of Mentoring panel for start-ups at NASSCOM.
Mr. Vishnu Dusad has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for setting up of Dhananjaya Chair Professorship and instituting three Nucleus Outstanding Young Faculty Fellowships at IIT Delhi. He has been instrumental in sponsoring the project “AXLR8R Formula Racing IITD” by Nucleus Software Exports Ltd. for the years 2007 and 2008. He is also a member of the Technology Business Incubation Unit (TBIU) Board of Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi.

Mr. Jaswinder Singh Chadha received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1990. He completed his MS in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1992 and was a Doctoral candidate in Operations Research at Texas A&M University till 1995.
Mr. Jaswinder Singh Chadha is presently Global Head of Analytics Practice at Cognizant. He is the founder of marketRx, a leading marketing analytic company.
Mr. Jaswinder Singh Chadha founded marketRx in 2000. marketRx serves global life-science industry with a team of over 450 employees across offices in US, UK and India. marketRx has received many notable industry recognitions since its inception including Deloitte's fastest growing technology companies in North America for three consecutive years (2005, 2006 and 2007), PwC & Entrepreneur Magazine’s ‘Hot 100’ fastest growing companies in the US (2005), Inc.500’s “Fastest Growing 500 companies” (2005) and SiliconIndia Magazine’s “si100 list of Top 100 technology companies formed in the US by people of Indian origin”. marketRx was acquired by Cognizant Technology Solutions for over $135M in November, 2007.
In recognition of his leadership and entrepreneurial achievements, Mr. Jaswinder Singh Chadha has been awarded the "Top Forty under Forty" award by NJBiz Magazine and “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by Ernst & Young in 2004. As CEO of marketRx, his principal responsibilities included strategic planning and general management of the firm. He was deeply involved in the development of modeling techniques and advanced analytical software tools for sales and marketing optimization. He has provided marketing strategies to a number of major global pharmaceutical clients, in virtually every major market in the world.
Mr. Jaswinder Singh Chadha has taken keen interest in the growth of his Alma Mater. He has been responsible for the setting up of Jaswinder and Tarvinder Chadha Chair of Operations Research at IIT Delhi. He has also helped in setting up of Nilgiri 1990 Batch Scholarship at IIT Delhi. He has been a speaker at several IIT events and is a mentor to the IIT/TiE joint Mentorship program titled Mentor’s Circle.
